FREE Nonfiction Book Writing Resources

You’re thinking about writing a nonfiction book.

But, why should you spend months working on the longest form of content you’ve ever created?

Well, there’s the money bit.

Yah, yah...I know you want to inspire people, share your story, and all that jazz.

But, you aren’t going to be dishing out thousands of dollars for creating, publishing, and promoting your book if you aren’t hoping to get some decent sales.

Book publishing is a billion dollar industry!

Alison Flood from The Guardian reports that book sales in the UK £6.3 billion primarily because of a rapid increase in the popularity of audiobooks and nonfiction titles.

Let’s imagine we’re in a utopia for a minute.

What would you really want to achieve with your nonfiction book?

I’m not a mind-reader.

Here’s what I think though. In the back of your mind, you want to be a bestselling author because of the perks that come with that status.

Bestselling books probably sell 40,000 copies annually.

But, their true selling-power comes in the exposure the author gets.

You see, bestseller status brings notoriety. And notoriety leads to speaking engagements, people clamoring at your door from one-on-one consultations...the whole works.

So, your earning potential isn’t limited to book sales if you’re considering becoming a bestselling author.

At the end of the day though, what really matters is the steps you take to put together an awesome, fantastic, mind-blowing nonfiction book your readers will love.

The sales will follow.

I’ve collated some of my best resources for creating a nonfiction book that will wow your reader. These resources span the gamut of the nonfiction book process - writing, designing, editing, proofreading, publishing, and promoting.
